I stumbled on this site today who’s soul purpose is to document the Funk, Soul, & R&B record labels of the DC / MD area(B-more is mixed in there a bit too). The site has alot of vintage photography and images of rare vinyl that you can probably only find in DC. Kevin Coombe, who’s the site author and DJ has done a awesome job archiving all of this. I only wish there were a bit more sound bytes, but I’m sure they are on their way. I also wish there were some better shots of the record covers themselves.
