My homie Pam sent this video to me the other day and all I could do is LMFAO. I’m not a writer, a reporter, or a commentator, but I know the commentator in this video is going about this assesment ALL WRONG, and on so many levels. I really have a lot to say about this vid, but it’s important that you watch the video before reading what I have to say about it. Let me know what you think in the comments.

I tried a time or two to let my jeans sag, but eventually they fell to the floor. I guess I’m not hip enough to handle that and I bought ‘em a few sizes too large.
I don’t wear belts, but I don’t let my pants sag either. It’s all a matter of finding an even medium so you can still be cool and not be constricted.

The commentary in this video is just so backwards to me. It’s like he’s commentating on some 3rd world indigenous tribe and using ‘1st World’ logic to make sense of it all. The commentator’s name is Bill Cunningham and he’s apparently this huge Fashion Guru, but I think he should stick to high-end fashion stuff. This dude will NEVER understand Black Culture with that approach. Truth be known, I don’t understand Black culture myself, but I would assume going up to one of these dudes and asking them why they’re sagging their pants might be a descent starting point.

ha! he is so fascinated and dumbfounded by it trying to find some explanation for it but never saying much. i love how he tries to throw a graffiti reference in there really quick too. hahaha
