Ashley over at Upstart Blogger is at again with this rather innovative idea on getting a successful blog up and running in no time. All you have to do is pitch your idea and if he likes(loves) it you’re in! Once you’re in, Ashley awards you a custom blog design and one years professional blog hosting, promotion and consultancy. Pretty awesome if you ask me, as this guy makes quite a bit of money through blogging. More details can be read at his OG Post.

I couldn’t agree with him more but I don’t know if I have the guts to delete my acount just yet.
Ever since Facebook opened itself up to the public and introduced Apps I have noticed an unsurprising demise in how I interact with my friends on the site. Before Apps and public Facebook I used to have Facebook open ALL DAY looking at Photos, making Wall Posts, responding to Inbox messages, changing my Status — Everything

Upstart Blogger to me has been probably THE best blogging advice site on the WWW over the past year or so. It’s written beautifully by pro blogger: Ashley Morgan who doubles as a jazz trumpet player. Content is King holds so true on this site as it is filled (and I mean FILLED) with tons of really good info on how to not only make money from Blogging, but how to make a career out of it. Granted there are tons of books on this type of thing, but considering how rapidly the internet changes, a book becomes practically obsolete after a couple of months. I started aggregating this blog back when Robert Ellis, the original blog owner was still writing there. I honestly stumbled on the site initially because I wanted to dissect some of its beautiful WordPress Themes. But, I ended up coming back to delve into all of the intuitive blogging tips and tricks of the trade. Just read the title of one of my favorite AND frequently revisited posts: 25 Steps to Launching Your Blog and Making $100+ A Month in 30 Days. Need I say more? If your an up & coming blogger don’t sleep and pay UB a visit. You’ll thank me.
