Over at Category 4 they’ve designed this really nice WordPress them based on Barack’s site. It’s actually a pro theme so it’s loaded with tons of back-end goodness. Check it out. I love it!
Upstart Blogger to me has been probably THE best blogging advice site on the WWW over the past year or so. It’s written beautifully by pro blogger: Ashley Morgan who doubles as a jazz trumpet player. Content is King holds so true on this site as it is filled (and I mean FILLED) with tons of really good info on how to not only make money from Blogging, but how to make a career out of it. Granted there are tons of books on this type of thing, but considering how rapidly the internet changes, a book becomes practically obsolete after a couple of months. I started aggregating this blog back when Robert Ellis, the original blog owner was still writing there. I honestly stumbled on the site initially because I wanted to dissect some of its beautiful WordPress Themes. But, I ended up coming back to delve into all of the intuitive blogging tips and tricks of the trade. Just read the title of one of my favorite AND frequently revisited posts: 25 Steps to Launching Your Blog and Making $100+ A Month in 30 Days. Need I say more? If your an up & coming blogger don’t sleep and pay UB a visit. You’ll thank me.
Sorry I’ve been so M.I.A. the last month or so. I’ve just switched servers and a lot of my back end stuff has been really buggy. It either has something to do with upgrading to the newest wordpress or some database issue thats completely beyond my scope. Once I get it figured out, I will be back in full effect. Turns out there happens to be a quick fix to my posting problem. Dug around a few forums and I found a solution. Only thing is that it doesn’t actually get rid of the problem. Just kinda patches it up for now. Looks like i’m not shutting this thing down after all.
