Fixes:
- Removes the first image from the post content when it comes before the_content text. This effectively fixes the ‘duplicate image’ that many people have found to be a problem in the comments. With 0.9.5 You DO NOT need to delete the first/duplicate image from the post content.
- It also allows the images to show up in the RSS feed.
- Adds indented sub-page formatting in the main menu.
- Removes Gray background for smaller images on single and attachment pages.

I believe this will be the last update for a while as it solves almost all of the concerns that have been reported in the comments. I’ve got to thank Rob for helping with the duplicate image/RSS feed image fixes. Great work.

So I decided to give iPhone/iPod touch users an optimized version of my site. I’m using the WPTouch plugin which has been working flawlessly so far. It was pretty easy to modify the default theme and get it to match the full design. It also makes it easier to respond to comments from my phone which you can’t currently do with the Wordpress for iPhone App. Here’s a few screenshots:

After a few small GPL issues and some bug fixes, AutoFocus is here! It’s a derivative of Futurosity Aperio Prototype by Robert Ellis. It is designed specifically for photographers looking for a simple and elegant way to display their work online but can also be used as a regular blog. Here’s a short feature list:
- Images are automatically placed into posts which means you can forget about Custom Fields!
- Psuedo-Image protection. All of the images are protected from download with an invisible layer of HTML that prevents users from Right Clicking and Saving the image directly. Similar to how flickr does it.
- 2 Front page layouts. Photo Layout (home.php) and Blog Layout (index.php)

WP 2.7 Comment Search Bug? April 1, 2009
Anyone else notice how WordPress 2.7’s comment search only returns results when you search using one term? If you use more than one search term, the results only recognizes consecutive words. So for this post, if I searched for comment search, it would show up in the results. But, if I used wordpress comment search, I would get 0 results because those three words aren’t consecutive in the post content. Makes the comment search kind of wack doesn’t it?
