So I couldn’t wait for the WordPress Theme Directory guys anymore. I keep receiving a “Doesn’t support gravaters” error from them but I can’t seem to replicate the error anywhere. The gravatars work fine locally, on the live demo, and on my other live WordPress testing site. I’m going to keep at it but it gets pretty frustrating because there’s no information on their testing process.
Anyways, I am proud to finally release Neutica — a lightweight, two (maybe five?) column, widgetized, WordPress theme designed completely with CSS, sans image graphics. It’s been lingering on the Themes pages for a few weeks now, so I’m sure a few people have already grabbed it. The design is based on the sometimes overly popular yet undeniably classic typeface: Helvetica Neue. Neutica can be used for mini-magazine publishing or standard blog publishing and it also come with a much easier way to manage thumbnail images. Read more…
Peep the Demo or Download the latest release. Make sure to read the documentation, before you install and activate it. ALSO, if you find any gravatar errors please let me know. Enjoy!

Thanks Allan, this looks really nice. I’ll see if I can find the glitch for you while I’m testing.
Thanks Christopher! Let me know if you find anything.
Hi Allan,
I love the theme, thanks. I’m running into some issues.
Everytime I try to post on the home page, the original theme color of brown appears over the updated theme color of black. Also, when you click on anything on the home page you receive a 404 error.
I’m also looking for a tutorial on how to change the header image.
Thanks in advance,
L
Thanks Lori,
I’m not sure why you’re getting those errors. You may need to re-install WordPress or the Neutica theme and start fresh to get it working.
I’m looking for a 980 pixel wide wordpress template with:
Layout Approximately:
200 px left column
480 px center column
300 px right column
Tabbed horizontal Navigation
Widget Friendly
WP 2.7 Compatible
Email me if you have a source; thanks
Great looking theme although I can’t figure out how to change the header image.
Could you please provide easy guide to doing this or is it not possible on this theme?
Hi Maz,
The easiest way to do this is with CSS, if you don’t mind digging through the comments, there’s a post from a few months back where I went in and explained how to do it. As an alternative, you can also check out Neutica+ which also allows you to add custom headers, logos, and colors to your site through the Options panel.
