AutoFocus 1.0 should be wrapped up in the next day or so

the long awaited Mixtape 2.0 (beta) update will be available this week as well.
Things have been really hectic on the work front, but these updates are WAY overdue. Pending the WP Theme directory’s approval time, both themes should be available for download this week.

So i’m new to this whole website thing. and I know NOTHING about codes, but I really need to create a website as an online portfolio. I’ve updated some media files to my pages and they’ve worked on other themes except yours. For some reason when you click on the links of the files ON The SITE, a warning error array message comes up. Not sure what this means, I just need to figure out how to get my links working so potential employers can actually see my work or this whole site is a bit of a waste.

It seems to be working fine to me.
well when you click on my links to projects that are pdfs, they just open to a big ?. will pdfs not open on this theme? if so, what do I need to do to make sure they will open?

Is there a bug known that you can’t put more then 10 Words into an Article since the WordPress update? With other Themes it works fine, but with autofocus the front page will not load when the article is longer then 10 words.

I haven’t experienced this issue. Have you looked at your plugins? Sounds like one of them may be conflicting with AutoFocus and it’s custom excerpt functions.

I’ve recently discovered a major bug in the 2.0 version that has yet to be solved. I didn’t want to release it and then get a bunch of error comments back that I don’t have solutions for. I’m shooting for late August to have it fixed though.

I am having a problem with inserting galleries into posts. I organize the posts according to ascending order, however, on the home page it disregards the order and places a random image as the display image for the post. I have tried organizing images from ascending, descending, by title (after I changed all the titles with numeric prefixes hoping it would read it chronology) with no luck. any ideas????

Hi Eric,
Because AutoFocus will always pull the last uploaded image, the gallery sort order doesn’t effect what comes up on the front page. I suggest uploading the main image separate from the rest of the gallery images to assure that the correct image is used.

Just wondering if you can customize the header for auto focus? Can I insert a logo? Been having a hard time locating the code to do this in wordpress. Mostly bc I’m not familiar with php, only html.
